I am transitioning to Cirrus aircraft, for which the insurance company requires 6 hours of Cirrus Transition Training from a Certified Cirrus Transition Trainer Instructor. I have been very lucky to meet Mr. Kacper Gradzki, owner of Jacksonville Flight Training to work with me on this.

This video is of my second take off in the Cirrus SR20, departing 24J, where we went for a short cross country. Coincidentally, 24J is the airport at which I had my first flight instructor about 40 years ago. 24J is located in Live Oak, Suwannee County, Florida, where I was born and raised. It was a pure coincidence that we flew over to 24J today - Kacper has an aircraft that another student put down in a nearby field in a forced landing, and the plane was trucked to 24J to be repaired. Kacper needed to check on it.

I could not be happier with the SR20 - it is a terrific airplane. This particular SR20, N312DD, is brand new with less than 300 hours on it, and equipped with the Cirrus Perspective package - synthetic vision and the GFC 700 Autopilot.
