Qatar International Enduro Round 3, Mohammed Al Balooshi winner of both races
At Sealine, a total of 38 riders took part in the third round of Qatar Interntional Enduro organized by Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation. In this round, riders from different nationalities joined this round: Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Germany, France, South Africa, Lebanon, Great Britain, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
In the first race, the overall winner was the rider from UAE, Mohammed Al Balooshi with a KTM bike with a total time of 38:37.395 and competing in the E2 category. The second rider with the best time was Mohammed Jaffar , from Kuwait also with a KTM bike but in E1 category. The german rider Tycho Lieske with a Yamana bike, crossed the line in third position.
Regarding results by categories, in the E1, Mohammed Jaffar was first in the podium and Tycho Lieske in second place. The third step of the podium was for Abdullah Al Shatti from Kuwait with a Honda bike. Mohammed Al Balooshi was the winner in the E2 category with Ali Al Kubaisi in second position and Saeed Al Shenati in third place.
In the E3 category, it was a UAE podium. Khalid Khamis, the leader of his category, was the winner with a time of 44:36.500. Saif Al Kmaite was second and the third place was for Anwar Al Nuaimi.
For Quads, Abdulla Nasser Al Ali finished in first place and Obaid Al Kitbe finished second. The third place was for the qatari rider Mohammed Abu Issa with a KTM quad.
In the second race, the overall riders in the first and second place were the same as in Race 1. Mohammed Al Balooshi crossed the checkered flag in first position with a time of 37:11.556 and Mohammed Jaffar behind him, with a time of 37:27.624. The third place was this time for the Kuwaiti rider Abdulla Al Shatti.
In the podium of E1 category, the top place was again for Mohammed Jaffar and Abdulla Al Shatti in the second place. The third place was for Tycho Liese also from Germany.
The E2 podium was again for Mohammed Al Balooshi and the french rider Yannie Le Gourvenec was in second place. Ali Al Kubaisi was in the third place. In the E3 category there was a repetition of the podium: Khalid Khamis, Saif Al Kmaiti and Anwar Al Nuaimi.
In the Quads, this time the rider Obaid Al Kitbe was the winner in his category and Abdulla Nasser Al Ali was second. The third place was again for Mohammed Abu Issa from Qatar.
In this round there was a classification for the Arab Federation Series in Race 1 and Race 2. In this series, there were the riders from Arabic countries only and specially host by Qatar with the Qatar International Enduro Round 3.
There was a special trophy for the german woman rider Lara Lynn as being the only woman rider in taking part in this series.
Trophies were given by Mr. Sultan Al Morraikhi (QMMF Board Member), Mr. Isa Al Awadhi (Bahrain Motorcycle Club President), Mr. Nasser Khalifa Al Attiya (QMMF President), Mr.Ali Dagher (Lebanese Motorcycle Club President) and Mr.Omar Zarzou (Royal Jordan Motorcycle Club General Secretary).
As in previous rounds, Alfardan Motorcycles supports the Qatar International Enduro by suppling to the winners gifts such as helmets, riding equipment, boots and shirts.
Abdulla al Shatti form Kuwait is leading the E1 category with 174 points and Moaz Al Ansari with 156 points is in second position The winner of today 2 races, Mohammed Al Balooshi is in the second position in his category, E2, with 120 points. The leader of E2 is the french rider Yannic Le Gourvenec with 166 points.
In E3 category, Khaldi Kamis with 120 points is leading his category and Saif Al Kumiti is in second place with 100 points. Regarding Quads, Obaid Al Kitbe is the leader of Quads with 147 points and Mohammed Al Shamsi is second with 127 points.
The fourth and last round of Qatar International Enduro will be on 7th,8th and 9th February 2013.
