Video - Performance written and performed by Irene Accardo and Teresa Lucia Rosenkrantz.
Presented at the "context festival 2010" in HAU3 as a cooperation between the Master in performance studies of the university of Hamburg and HAU Berlin.
"The best comes in the end" reflects on the applause as one of the most important parts of the theatrical event, the moment in which the audience performs itself, takes a position towards the show and manifestate itself. The artists have been interviewing her study collegues of the master in performance studies (university of Hamburg) to elaborate a list of habits which define this important moment of spectatorship. The result of these interviews was a fascinating portait of the audience thought as a political comunity, who is defining and requestioning itself through the ritual of the applause.
This video performance integrates habits and strategies of participation into a clapping choreography.
