Yusuf al-Qaradawi is a prominent intellectual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood.
He is asked if it is OK to "kill" regime supporters, including civilians. He says that it is a duty to "fight" all who work [deal] with the regime, regardless of being; civilians, religious scholars, or ordinary people who sympathize with the regime in Syria. He also said that the penalty of such people is the same as the regime they support. He then ended with a verse form Quran, which does not even support what he said. While Quran says clearly in a different verse (that he didn't mention): " whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.".
