Angela Carapia is not allowing her past to define her future. She's striving to make the most of her second chance while working at restaurant in the Grantville area of San Diego.
She took advantage of the wrap-around services provided to her while in custody at the Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility. The Culinary Arts Program especially carved a path to employment.
No matter what mistakes people have made, they can positively transform their lives. It is our mission to empower people in custody by providing them pathways to opportunities. Our Reentry Programs prepares participants to reenter society by offering life coaching, counseling and employment readiness so they can succeed in all phases of their lives.
