The goal of this project is to explore the potential of Quantified Self (QS) data in bringing a new social dimension to the QS movement. We are exploring what would be the motivation for users to share their data for the benefit of the community and how the value of the QS data is transformed once it moves into the realm of Quantified US (Q.US).
The movement of Quantified Self – self-knowledge through self-tracking - is growing every day.
Many of us are tracking what we eat, how much we walk, how well we sleep.
We are searching for a better awareness of our activities, which in turn helps us change our behaviors.
What if we could leverage data collected by many to improve not only ourselves, but our communities?
What if we could channel the Quantified Self movement into the realm of Quantified Us?
