One day in a quiet village in England's smallest county a worm lady came to stay. She worked with pupils and teachers at Exton Primary School to recreate some of the experiments that Charles Darwin did with worms.
Together the team designed tests to see whether worms could hear and to explore the role that worms play in making healthy soil. Then they created an animation to celebrate and share their work.
Professor Corkbot and the Lambton worm was inspired by Professor Amanda Fisher and made possible through Creative Partnerships and the Medical Research Council's Clinical Sciences Centre.
