Fortyfives includes source material produced by processing original video recordings and still images from science textbooks with the analog equipment at the Experimental Television Center in Owego, NY.
These were combined with digital processing using After Effects, edited in Final Cut Pro.
The audio is original using sound generated using an analog modular synthesizer mixed with processed field recordings and a computer voicing a passage of text from the writing of Stanislaw Lem.
The work is included in the DVD anthology, "ETC: 1969 - 2009" covering 40 years of video arts at the Experimental Television Center, distributed by Electronic Arts Intermix , New York, NY.
