Celeste Ramirez was a 3 year letterman at Antonian Preparatory High School in San Antonio, Tx where she helped lead the Apaches to two back-to-back State Championships in 2009 and 2010. She also helped lead the Lady Apaches to the State Tournament and were Semi - Finalists in 2011. In her Senior year, she received the TAPPS 2011 Setter of the Year Award, and during the playoffs, was honored with 1st Team All-District, 2nd Team All-State and All-Texas Honorable Mention. She received a one-year scholarship to go to the 2011 NJCAA National Champions, Blinn College in Brenham, TX, where she played her freshman year. Blinn ended up ranking no. 9 in the country at the end of the 2012 volleyball season. Celeste is an athletic player with quick "cat-like" reflexes and speed when it comes to defense. As a setter, she makes smart decisions, and distributes the ball very well. She is a leader, and she is not afraid to challenge her opponents and push her teammates for the win. She loves the game and plays with no fear and wants to continue playing on the collegiate level.
