Unlike the Renaissance painters who had teams of assistants help them sketch, mix paint and even dry the paints (albeit doubtful with the aid of a hair dryer), I do this all on my own with several cups of coffee... Here’s proof.
The painting is 2 feet by 4 feet, acrylic medium on canvas. The painting is based on a photo I took in Paris, France last March of a cafe overlooking the Seine River. I first painted the image small on paper (5” x 10”) before heading to the larger artwork.
