Sunday's race was intense for me. I got another bad start (I really need to work on my starts) and Alexander (who started in the back due to being underweight in Saturday's race) shot ahead of me (along with everyone else). I did manage to catch up to him and Dave and even overtake both of them for about 20 second before I got to excited and went off on the left after the bridge. I kept getting stuck being the Neon that you see all over the video, reeling him in and then going off while trying to overtake or catch up. Eventually we both caught up to Alexander who I was able to get around on the last turn of the last lap. He kept letting off to keep from spinning but somehow managed to pick up some speed on the exit and it was a drag race down to the finish, which gave him second and me third (by only 0.032 seconds). It was so close that both of us assumed the other finished 2nd! That was, by far, the best racing I've done to date. I can't wait to get back to my home track and put some pressure on the lead pack!
