The Long Hunt – Fishermen of Thorupstrand

For his entire life, Gert Kristensen has fished along the northern coast of Denmark. He is retired now, but still gives a hand in the small fishing community of Thorupstrand. The traditional methods they use keep fish stocks and habitats in balance. But since bigger trawlers started fishing in the same area, it has become a challenge for Gert and his fellow fishermen to sustain their way of life.
