In this project I took over 10,000 surveillance pictures of myself and a classmate using an open-source programming language called Processing. I wanted to tell a story that highlighted our interaction, or lack thereof. Is a story still a story if it is told through surveillance cameras, which are the “truth”?
Though the images are from surveillance cameras, they seem innocuous.
However, the audio is a transgressive, fearful paranoia, a kind of emotion that one doesn’t often share. The video rests in this ambiguity.
