The Gila trout, native to southern Arizona and southern New Mexico, has greatly declined in population from a variety of environmental threats, including livestock grazing. New Mexico resident and Gila Watch co-founder Mike Sauber talks about efforts to increase the fish population through reintroduction of the fish into Black Canyon in the Aldo Leopold Wilderness on the Gila National Forest of New Mexico.
