Award-Winning educator, Lou Zulli, Jr., is the IT instructor and Network Administrator at the Center for Advanced Technologies (CAT) at Lakewood High School. For some 34 years, as a veteran educator, he has combined his passion for education with an innovative use of technology in his classroom. He has been recognized as a leading educator in the world. Mr. Zulli was a 2011 first place Microsoft Partners in Learning Global winner for Cutting Edge Use of Technology for Learning. That award for Cutting Edge Use of Technology for Learning was for Lakewood's Center for Advanced Technologies News and Information Portal, also known as CATNIP. He was also a member of the team that won a 2011 first place Partners in Learning Global Forum Award for Collaboration for the student-created interactive educational game called, "When Fish Fly." Mr. Zulli accepted the honors at Microsoft's 2011 Global Forum Educator Awards in Washington, D.C.
