GOBLIN MARKET: Innocence Lost Forever.
A trailer for the 2012 short film GOBLIN MARKET - a live-action film adaptation of the poem by Christina Rossetti. Attracting controversy ever since its publication in 1862, this canonical British poem has long deserved a cinematic realisation.
Like the original poem of GOBLIN MARKET, the film adaptation weaves into its narrative dark sexual undertones and hidden symbolic meanings.
Directed by Anna Blandford, GOBLIN MARKET has recently screened at the Tate Britain in London, in association with the Pre-Raphaelite exhibition, with further screenings at Encounters Festival and the London Short Film Festival.
