The NAS II course of the Nautical Archaeology Society (NAS) nauticalarchaeologysociety.org/
is continuing the exercises from the introductory course »Denkmalgerechtes Tauchen« by VDST (Verband Deutscher Sporttaucher) and the NAS I course »conservation and archeology under water«. NAS II course instructor: Gerd Knepel. Diving Spots: Wreck of Uluburun III (a replica build by 360derece) with amphorae field at archaeopark and around the area of Kaş (archaeological zone). The historic Uluburun I is dated to the late 14th century BC, one of the most spectacular Late Bronze Age shipwrecks from the Mediterranean Sea.
