I have wanted to remake the chocolate I did in 2008 with only blender for a long time. FInally I had the time for that. And, of course, before cycles that would not be possible.
I still miss some things from 3ds max that would allow me to do a lot more, like the hability to dynamically apply vertex groups. But there are things in blender now that helped a lot and 3ds max does not have (at least last time I used it), like the remesh modifier.
