Wayne was born in 29 Palms, California. His father’s military background lead Wayne to receive his high school diploma in West Virginia. Years later, he received his degree in Visual Communication from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and now in his last semester of Marshall University's graduate program.
This artist video shows Wayne's process of wood lamination and overall sculpture techniques. From beginning to end, he shows you his rewarding process. The medium for "A Beauty Submerged" is a domestic cherry and poplar- all found from the local wooded area. Wayne's studio is located on Marshall University campus- contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you all for watching! A special thanks to Jake Billmyer (cameraman) and Explosions in the Sky.
