Last year I was living in Smeeton Westerby a traditional English village in the Leicestershire countryside tucked away from the busy roads and noisy traffic from the local A6.
Once a year the local brass band would come and play a free concert on the allotments just outside my house. I feel this is an amazing part of the British culture that I'm sure most towns and villages have but are either ignored or unappreciated.
I thought it was important to capture this moment for the world to enjoy and may be get them to appreciate the great things a few people do to make the area you live in just that bit special.
I shot this on my Canon 550d and edited it on Final Cut Pro.
