A short coming of age tale. Corporate businessman Matthew Locke encounters a man raising money for charity. When Matt decides to clear his own conscience at this man's expense he will be faced with a life changing revelation.
A brief led project for my Advanced Independent Unit in my BA course. The brief was to try to tell a story in 90 seconds. The film was shot in less than a day with quite a few one take wonders from this very talented cast. I extended the credits sequence to make it more interesting and fun to watch - who doesn't like sticking around for a novel credit sequence?
In true method acting style the actor playing Matt (David Eaton) was among actual pedestrians during the ending scene. And before you ask, no we didn't get a cent from anyone. The 2p coins rattling inside that piggy bank were the entire budget for the film. I still have those coins...
The film was shot using a Sony PD170 and it was the first time I got to use the Fig Rig.
