This project has been realised during my MA Computational Arts at Goldsmiths University, for the AV Processing module with Prof. Mick Grierson.
I have been exploring the way the magnetic field of a loudspeaker can manifest itself in the way it produces sound, attempting to make a parallel between magnetic field and sound waves.
To this effect, I have patched Max/MSP with an analog synthesiser (Monotron) controlled via an Arduino.
This newer version is sending the capacitance value to the synth pitch with greater precision, ranging between 0 to about 1024 instead of 0 to 16. This makes the artefact much more responsive.
