This is a video I made from all of the still pictures that I took on my tour through our nation's capital. We ran more than 10.5 miles in over 2.5 hours but it only seemed like a few minutes because of all of the great things we got to see.

I carried my Panasonic GH3 and several lenses(35-100mm F2.8, 25mm F1.4, and 14mm F2.5) in a small camera bag the entire way. I never even thought twice about the weight of it. Try that with a DSLR and the equivalent gigantic lenses.

My son and I road the Amtrak train up there and I had a great time running while he climbed. If you ever get the chance to tour D.C. you need to do it on foot. There is so much you miss if you travel from monument to monument by car. Plus it will definitely keep you in shape.
