Darryl Bedford is an Advanced Skills Teacher working within Wandsworth. He is an Art teacher at Oak Lodge School for Deaf Children and works closely with several surrounding Wandsworth provisions to provide advice, support and training focusing on future technologies in the classroom. His recent work has focused on portable technologies in the classroom and “Access” technologies for special needs students. He has extensive knowledge and practice of creative cross-curricular project work featuring ICT. Darryl utilises video, animation, portable devices and Internet technologies to encourage collaborative learning and forge cross-curricular links.
He has showcased his work at a conference for AST’s in central London, delivered iPad training to International School organisation, delivered a Key note address during a primary school conference and is currently Working with 6 neighbouring nursery and primary schools to develop creative ICT projects, funded by Estended Schools to assist disadvantaged students.
