The Rosemary Foundation is a not for profit UK registered charity which provides a hospice at home service for those suffering from cancer and other life limiting illnesses. Our team of dedicated trained nurses and health care support workers provides care and support during these uncertain times. The Rosemary Foundation’s “parish” serves Petersfield and the surrounding towns and villages, roughly covering a fifteen mile radius of Petersfield in Hampshire.
Anyone caring for a loved one in the latter stages of a terminal illness at home will need advice and practical support. Carers in those circumstances are invited and encouraged to contact the Foundation. Our services include help with care, medication and nursing as well as counseling, problem solving and bereavement support for the carers.
In urgent cases a fully qualified nurse will visit the same day and care and support will continue as long as it is needed by both patient and carer. Please watch this video to see how the Foundation helped in three particular cases. These services are provided gladly and free of all charge.
The Foundation receives little or no government backing and relies entirely on voluntary support in all its forms, from bequests to coffee mornings, from donations in memory to sponsored cycle rides. It is truly an asset to its local area.
The Rosemary Foundation is deeply indebted to David Futcher of Flow-Motion.Co.Uk who produced and donated this video.
