Three per cent wage increases are part of a new contract between Bridgewater and a trade union representing more than 30 outside workers.The three-year deal is retroactive to April 1, 2012 and ends March 31, 2015.
Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) local 1092 already voted in favour of the deal. Town council recently voted to accept the contract. The contract impacts water, wastewater, public works and parks and recreation employees. (Story by Keith Corcoran)
