Neil Curtis: Was this the first time you have been bodypainted?
Torero: Yes, it was the first time.
Neil Curtis: And you got painted everywhere – on the entire body?
Torero: I can feel that, that's true.
Neil Curtis: How is the feeling?
Torero: It feels like my skin is on tention, that every move I want to make kind of hurts in every corner and in every direction.
Neil Curtis: What is your favourite color?
Torero: I'd say "green".
Neil Curtis: Why do you like green?
Torero: Because it reminds me of the nature.
Neil Curtis: You like the nature?
Torero: I do, yes. Being outside, cycling, swimming...
Neil Curtis: Do you feel nude at the moment?
Torero: Actually, I don't feel nude... I can't say that. I think I am used to be nude so it makes no difference for me.
Neil Curtis: Do you like red aswell?
Torero: Yes, it's a very strong color and for me it's very energetic and when I want to get things done, i need to be energetic.
Neil Curtis: The red refers to blood in this session and you are were a "Torero". Was it difficult for you to play a "Torero"?
Torero: It was kind of difficult because I don't support bullfighting and being a torero made me think what people would think if they see me. Do they see a person who is OK with bullfighting or can it just be seen as an artistic costume.
Neil Curtis: But you are not a bullfighter?
Torero: No, I am not. Neither am I spanish.
Neil Curtis: But you looked very authentical and it was very important for me as an artist because the sessions are supposed to look very authentic and one of the messages in the session is that "bullfighting is terrible". I do not support bullfighting as well. Where did you feel the paint most?
Torero: Actually in my neck and around my eyes. These are the areas it's most tight.
Neil Curtis: Thank you very much!
Torero: Thank you for being part of the project!
