Investing in female education improves productivity, reduces hunger, creates jobs and prosperity, and reduces population growth. Investing in the next generation of African female farmers is vital in the fight against climate change, increasing resilience against climate shocks, and producing healthier, wealthier communities.
The CAMFED Association, the network of women leaders educated with CAMFED support, is working to enable women agricultural entrepreneurs to lift their communities out of poverty. We provide a combination of training and mentoring, along with access to high quality tools and materials, advice, and affordable technologies that support improved productivity and climate smart approaches.
