While embarking on keywording my 799 images from the Wings Over Wairarapa 2013 air show, I was quickly into hating Aperture keywording all over again, so I thought it was about time I recorded the pain to show people why I hate it.
I no longer have Lightroom installed to offer the counterpoint, but I can tell you it's all done by typing. No scrolling, no searching, just start typing and let auto-complete do most of the work.
The video commentary in this video was recorded while watching it play back and not while recording it, as I felt that commentating while doing would impact my flow. So what you see here is exactly what I would normally go through when tagging.
Before anyone suggests it, using the search box at the top of the keyword HUD doesn't help because every search requires two clicks in the search field and I can only search for one of the keywords at a time, making this just as inefficient.
