We gathered to think about the meaning of being European citizens. We talked about our first trips to the EU as teenagers, about studying abroad and realising that a foreign classroom became our classroom, about having friends speaking different languages but sharing cultural roots, about going to work abroad to discover yet another country.
We realized that all those speeches could be applied to the whole world, so what does it mean to be European citizens?
Being European citizens facilitates all our movements and experiences:
we come from different realities, and when we meet it isn't just an exchange, we find instead the support to build something together. In every European country we go to we feel the same rights and cares that we perceive in our country of origin:
in other words, being in Europe as European citizens means to feel at home.
We tell you all this in a video that plays with the sharing of everyday experiences.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
