This presentation will feature a summary of Cluster B Personality Disorders, with an emphasis on Narcissism. It will also offer a brief discussion on diagnostics, narcissistic features, and their presentations in the clinical setting. Most importantly, there will be a discussion of how narcissistic abuse and manipulation affect the victims and how we can use the Satir Model to help our clients transition from brokenness back to wholeness. CAROL E. PROVO is a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.), Certified Life Coach, University Professor, and Author and has had a successful career in public service, community services and mental health counseling. She also holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree and spent nearly 15 years in government service on the executive team working for two mayors and implementing strategic plans for City Government and California State Department of Mental Health. She currently teaches at California State University, Dominguez Hills, where for 19+ years, she has been teaching Applied Statistics in Criminal Justice, Strategic Planning, and many other public policy courses.
