Created for the launch of sony irelands PSP+ME content website for the PSP, we were asked to create an original short piece around an emotion, as a bit of content that would show off the PSP's video capabilities and could be downloaded online.
We were given the emotion excitement. We decided to avoid dialogue and concentrate on a slighly abstract idea of using sound effects of hysterical sounds of excitement and three strange characters confined to a small box room that would be framed for the small PSP screen.
Working with a small viewing screen meant shots were limited to close ups and quite tight group shots. This however enabled us to play with the idea of a box within a box within a box, or the idea of having to go through so many levels of wrapping to get at the goods.
Turnaround on this was a few days.
