Documentary coverage for the funeral called 'Alu Todolo' of the last animism king in Mamasa (near Tana Toraja). The tradition is the family who's been left behind will keep the body in their house for some certain time. It could be months even more than a year. Even though the body was kept in their house for months, still it wont make any rotten smell because the wizard can 'throw' it away to a certain place thats far away from where the body was kept.

The funeral process is very long, it could take days, they will wait for members of the family to come over from far away, they will slaughter so many livestock such as buffalo, pork, chicken, etc. The more livestock they slaughter means the higher position of the dead man in the neighborhood.
