R KAN -DUN (Trumpet made of a Tibetan woman's femur) : No melody, and a fews notes : it is the breath which is the center of this enigmatic session. Originally, the set is an installation (continuous screening of 8mm films together with an ensemble of speakers). On the screen, Jac Berrocal is playing a tibetan trumpet, made of a woman's femur. He appears in a game of prisms, like the hallucinatory vision of Jack the Ripper and a shaman of the suburbs. The sound, processed in real time, is growing to a polyphonic dimension, producing a singular drone, which throws the audience in a claustrophobic trance, inside a cataclysmic ritual.
