At the same time tourists, visitors, passersby were welcome too and joined a crowd of trendy hipsters from the neighborhood. The Opera Square was absolutely packed with over 1000 people.
We produced a unique integration of 3D Mapping technology, design, interactivity and live acts featuring the gorgeous talented Russian violinist Svetlana Tabachnikova and the famous tenor Jose Azocar. The visuals were synced to the music using sound algorithms. It was also the first time a live sound from violin and a tenor were fully integrated via sensors into the 3D mapping, called 4D Mapping, all of it playing with the fantastic neoclassical architecture of the building.
During the 15 minute show, the audience could experience beautiful visuals blending with the architecture and music and how the building was changing by the music, for the closure the tenor Nessun Dorma, the famous final act Aria from Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot interpreted by Jose Azocar, brought the emotional touch to the event.
