“25-30” is first video interview from the documentary series directed and filmed by Jakov Labrović starring his brother Ivan Labrović and his lifelong battle with schizophrenia.

Video was taken in 2011 while 45 years old Ivan was back home, at holiday release during his hospitalization at rehabilitation centre “Nada” in Karlovac, Croatia…
Nearly forgetting about filming process he is recounting his life story in front of his brother – from the memory of his first psychosis at the age of fourteen, almost 30 years he has spent in different psychiatric hospitals in Croatia and Germany, horrifying side-effects medicaments provoke to him (parkinsonism, insomnia, impotence, uncontrolled salivation, constant sleepiness…) to his ardent desires to stop with treatments, move back home and built a family…

“25-30” was taken during production of “C8H11NO2” performance and it became great inspirational material for both director and performers to open the door of the schizophrenic world to viewer’s perspective as a specific kind of extremely elevated, creative consciousness, neither making the condition of the disorder scandalized nor pathetic…
