From the Institute for Better Computing. HP felt they needed some additional content to help their retail sales force understand just exactly what it was they were selling.
So, rather than some sort of one-sheet of product specs or even some fancy slideshow, we decided to create an old school style educational film. We really wanted to make it cheesy like the old classic reels from the 50’s and 60’s, but showing the modern products.
We came up with the concept, wrote the script, worked with some friends to shoot it and do a little sound design and did all the effects and design and editing. It was a total start to finish project for us, and it was one of the most fun projects we’ve ever had.
