Here is a time lapse sequence from Ridge A, Antarctica, showing us assembling a work tent above one of the modules we would be working on. Despite outside ambient temperatures of down to -45 C, the tent heated up around 0 degrees C during the hottest parts of the day, allowing us to work just in glove liners. Taken with a GoPro Hero2 at 1 second interval.

We are in Antarctica with the United States Antarctic Program (USAP) as a joint US (University of Arizona) / Australian (University of NSW) expedition to service a remote astronomical observatory at a place called Ridge A, around 1000 km from the South Pole.
