MP's Chairman, Nadeem Mumtaz Qureshi spent a week traveling through villages and towns in the impoverished rural areas of the Jhang District. He addressed ten's of corner meetings attended mainly by local farmers. Farming is the main economic activity here and farmers are suffering terribly as the are squeezed by rising input costs and stagnant produce prices.
The Chairman explained in his meetings why in his opinion Pakistan is in trouble and what they (the farmers) can do about it.
