A Mac & Fox film

Northern Flame is the story of Northumbrian life told by the diverse communities of people who live there. Inspired by the Olympic torch's journey through Northumberland in 2012, this film relays the stories, heritage and culture of just some of the folk who live along the torchbearers’ route. The film enters England at Berwick, passing through Bamburgh, Alnwick, Alnmouth, Warkworth, Amble, Ashington, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Morpeth, Plessey, Bedlington, Blyth, Prudhoe, Stocksfield and Hexham, before leaving the county through Riding Mill.

The film premiered at The Berwick Film and Media Arts Festival in September 2012, rated as one of the most popular films of the festival by audiences.
