A group of Pinellas County students figure the best way to improve the learning experience at their schools is to come together and brainstorm. Student Rights and Responsibilities have been meeting throughout the year to talk about things like FCAT, weighted gpa’s and school lunches.
Twice a year the group meets with the Pinellas County School Board to present and discuss their top concerns. It’s an opportunity for both parties to learn more about how decisions affect students. The students and their advisor Dr. William Corbett recently met to prepare for their a series of important meetings with the Pinellas County School Board and Dr. Michael Grego.
