After a 12 tours of duty in war torn Iraq, Damien Mander decided he'd had enough and that it was time to travel
the world. He'd built up a large real estate portfolio and was set for life and thought he wouldn't need to work again.
So in 2009 he exchanged his gun and for a round the world ticket and off he went on a self confessed "hedonistic holiday"
But that all changed when he came to Africa and witnessed first hand the devastating effects illegal poaching was having on the beautiful wildlife of the continent.
He's been there ever since....
