After rafting the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon more than a dozen times the inevitable finally happened. The water level was about 8,000 cfs, we scouted right & ran right (there was no clear left run at this level). The entry was spot on, punched the "V wave" at it's apex as you can see. The idea was move to the left so as not to be in the middle of the huge tail waves but in attempting this the raft was not square at the moment of meeting the first "breaking hard" wave. The results are clear.
