John “Frenchy” Dinane brings Caribbean-style food to downtown Phoenix in a form of a street corner hot dog cart.
Dinane’s signature hot dogs are put together on Chicago-style poppy seed buns and are topped with a variety of sauces including mango, pineapple-strawberry, Creole-Cajun, prickly pear-aloe vera, papaya-Mandarin orange, guava and Piña Colada. Dinane said that the traditional Creole spicy and the spicy mango sauces are the most popular.
Frenchys Caribbean Dogs is located on the corner of Second Street and Taylor Street, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m..
