Technology and science has had such an impact in making our lives brighter. Currently, an iPhone screen shows just 2D, but in the future, it might show 3D objects.
No one can be sure about the future, but I made a theatrical presentation about what the iPhone of the future might be like with a sense of humour.
This work was inspired by futuristic attempts from our past, for instance 60s Russian futuristic graphics towards Space and 70s Japanese human washing machines. Future prediction can be wrong sometimes, but the future is a subject with limitless possibilities.
The video includes the scenes at `Calling the Future` exhibition at Victoria & Albert Museum Friday Late, 30 November 2012 as Platform 17 at Royal College of Art, MA Design Products.
