i'm sort of starting to feel like i'm back in the swing of things. this week started off with kenneth and i going to cafe fiore in queen anne. i love it there, it's really quiet and warm. we got top pot donuts on the way back and stopped at safeway to get some groceries. that night, he let me read a book to him for a long time. i don't know what it is, but i love reading books aloud. maybe it's from all of the books my mother read me when i was little. but i love it. this week i also had my first bottle of naked, and it is literally the best thing ever. i've been missing jamba juice a lot, since the closest one is in u village, so naked is a good substitute smoothie. i bought myself some more flowers this week. i really love how they brighten up the room and make it more homey. i've started taping little sayings and things that i love to my window, so i can see them whenever i look out. it's making me feel more positive about life in general which is nice, because it can get a little gray here. kenneth walked to work with me twice this week which was nice, it's always good to have company, even though it's only a twenty minute walk. laura and i haven't taken the justin beiber poster down from when our beds weren't bunked so whenever i'm in my bed he's just sitting there. it's actually really hilarious. friday was beautifully sunny which was sort of a bummer because i had work. but kenneth and i walked along the canal and made the best of it. when i got home from work, everyone was sitting in the hallway just laughing and talking, and i ate a panini. saturday i had work again, but sunday morning, my group from me theology class headed to a baptist church on capitol hill. it was a blast and the city view on the ride home was beautiful. when i got home i decided to walk to queen anne by myself and get breakfast, and it was really nice to be alone for a while. last night ashley brought me boba and it really made my night because i sort of just sat at my desk after i got off work. i shared it with laura, who has taken to watching downton abbey most nights after she finishes her work. a few weeks ago i bought us a whiteboard to stick on our door because a lot of other people have them and it's been a blast to see what people stop by and write when we're not there.
