Gabrielle Rich Aouad, 1969 - 1996, had a vision to fund cancer research. After surviving lymphoma, she developed acute myelogenous leukemia due to the toxicity of her treatments. Her mother and sisters promised to carry on her quest to find better treatments and hopefully, one day, a cure for cancers of the blood.
Here, the Chairman of our Medical Advisory Board, Dr. Stephen D. Nimer, and Gabrielle's mother, Denise Rich talk about the advances that have been made since Gabrielle's passing.
