Daniel Hoogteijling was born in Turkey to Dutch missionaries and grew up on a YWAM Missions base in The Netherlands. When Daniel was 18 he started Soul Survivor in The Netherlands with some of his friends and witnessed a move of God among the youth. Then, at the age of 25 he moved to Kenya, East Africa with his wife and for eight years they worked in Eastern Africa, in some of the darkest and poorest places on earth. In the summer of 2012 the family (2 children) moved to Kansas City where Daniel is on staff at the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC). There he helps give leadership to the ACTS (Antioch Center for Training and Sending) Missions school where he teaches and trains young missionaries.
