The not-too-distant-future…
The U.S. has become extremely conservative politically. The religious right now dominates business and politics. Legislation has been passed declaring that all “lewd, immoral, or blasphemous acts” are illegal and punishable by prison, or death.
The film opens with…
-- A mutilated, naked dead female.
The Audio Extraction Squad enters the crime scene. Their job is to use PVRs, Particle Vibration Resonators, to pull sounds out of the walls and piece together a sonic picture of what transpired.
It’s quickly determined that the murder victim is a “Role Player.”
A new subculture has developed in American society -- Role Players. They will do pretty much anything you want for a price.
The only rule is you can’t kill them.
The lead detective on the case, RAY SAMPSON, a seen-it-all veteran, begins to have a gut feeling that this might not be a typical murder.
He teams up with two rogue A.E.S. agents – LIZ DUCARNE and ARCHER DONELY, to try and find some answers…
Who killed the Roller?
If there is a cover-up, who’s behind it?
