Practiced the manual focus on the SLR Magic 35mm 1.4 on the Micro Four Thirds system. It was pretty difficult but after a few more practice sessions, I'll be much more confident with this manual lens for both video and stills.
My shots for the most part were smooth enough for my liking while shooting hand held with a thick Canon EOS strap. It stabilizes my video more than with the tiny Lumix strap around my neck.
Eventually I'll get either the GH series Panasonic or an Olympus MFT for manual ISO capabilities on video to remove the light flickering and to of course control light sensitivity. I want the GH2 or GH3 but won't mind switching to Olympus for the IBIS since my lenses don't have IS.
Making this vid was also a good chance for me to play with Premiere which I've only started using recently. Also I hope I get better at color correcting!
